Daisy and Jacques

I already introduced you to Isis and Cleopatra, now here are Daisy and Jacques:

Daisy & Jacques

As you could guess, they are brother and sister. We tell them apart because Jacques has longer ear hair, and he also has a kink at the end of his tail! (Daisy is on the left)

My parents and I got these cats when I was a junior in highschool. (they are about 7 years old now)

They came from my uncle's farm. Their mother still lives on that farm and has at least one litter of kittens every year! 

Sometimes we call these cats "Circus Cats" because they sit (like in these photos) like they are showing off. They are also known as "Squirrel Cats" or "Bookend Cats" and sometimes "Dumb Inbred Cats" because I suspect they are slightly inbred. 

They aren't the smartest of cats but they have beautiful markings.

Jacques, on the right, was caught just after a yawn with his little fangs out!

Hey everyone! It is a lovely Easter Sunday here in Wisconsin, I am so grateful the sun is out! I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter!

Adventures on Ebay: Registration!

I am embarking on an adventure: trying to sell stuff on Ebay! I have a lot of stuff and now that it is spring I am inspired to start getting rid of it. A lot of the stuff is pretty nice and I feel guilty just giving it away, so I am going to try to sell some of it. I have no idea what I am doing, so I thought I should document my adventures here on my blog!

I took the first step and registered on Ebay today. Are you on Ebay? What's your member name? Mine is Missmerryweather16!

I am staying FAR AWAY from the shopping on Ebay because I am a compulsive shopper, and the last thing I need is more THINGS. So I click on the "sell" button in the upper right hand corner...

And I get the create your listing page! So I summoned my best description writing skills and photography skills and I placed my first Ebay listing!

(I had a little slip-up because I decided to change my "buy it now" price after I left the description page, and I hit the back button instead of "edit" so I lost all my writing and had to write everything again!)

Another awesome thing is that Ebay has all the different shipping options available so I can estimate what shipping will be for my items. I'm not super familiar with shipping clothing, so that was really helpful!

What I'm Listening To

As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of Broadway musicals. Michael Crawford was the original Phantom of the Opera. I am currently listening to his "Songs From the Stage and Screen" Cd which is a wonderful compilation of famous songs from musicals.
Funny Story....when I was a little girl I used to swing on my swing set in the back yard and sing show tunes to myself. I always assumed no one could hear me, until one day when I was walking around the block, and old lady who lived in the house behind us said something along the lines of "Oh you! I always hear you singing to yourself you poor lonely child." (ok I added the last part) I always sang a little softer after that. Come to think of it, I have always been really self-conscious of my voice and I wonder if that is where it all started! (I still LOVE to sing when I am alone.)
