This is Cleopatra

She is very sweet and will make friends with any living thing. She has been known to befriend adults, children, cats, large dogs, small dogs, babies, bunnies, and her own reflection.
I call her Cleo for short. She loves to lick people!

Cleo and Isis are sisters. I got them together at the Humane Society. I believe they are about five 1/2 years old now.
Cleo is usually people's favorite. She is really a beautiful cat.
And the most cuddly cat I have ever known!

This is Isis

She is very very sweet but particular about her human friends. She is the biggest cat in the house, but its all muscle. She also has to loudest and most un-ignorable meow of all the cats in the house.

(I will post photos of the other three cats in my house later this week so check back soon!)

Non Sequitor
I overheard the strangest line today while walking out of Olive Garden:

(a woman is talking to her husband) "How many times have you bought guns and not told anybody about it?"

!?!?!?

Funniness

Is that a word? It is now.
My daughter got her 4-month shots today, and it was very hard for me. Probably harder for me than her because I was dreading it all day and still feel bad, she cried for about two minutes afterwards. So I am in need of some funniness today. Here are some Etsy finds that made me smile:

The Many Faces of Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman
full name: Uma Karuna Thurman
born: April 29, 1970
She has played goddesses,  super heroes, super villains, sexy bombshells and is always one badass babe!
This is (in my opinion) a collection of her best faces:
Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction

Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill Vol 1

Fantine in Les Miserables

Ulla in The Producers

Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin

Medusa (not sure which movie... do you know?)
Venus in the Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Cecile de Volanges in Dangerous Liaisons

Irene in Gattaca

Emma Peel in The Avengers

Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill Vol 2

G-Girl in My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Amazing, isn't she!?!?

Tippie Toes!

I am still in love with the Sally Hanson nail polish strips, but they are kinda pricey ($10) so I noticed that Broadway Nails makes a similar thing for half the price. Of course you get what you pay for, and they aren't nearly as nice. They are more like stickers than real nail polish strips, so they don't stretch to fit your nails like the Sally Hanson ones do. Also the sizes are really weird, there are too many large strips. So I was staring at the larger-than-my-thumb sized strips wondering what I could do with them, when suddenly I got an idea:
Ta-Daaa!
(I didn't do a great job shaping my toenails when I cut them because I won't be showing them off yet- its a little too cold! But at least now I have a new style for summer!)
They are so quick, and when your done you just have to peel them off!

Sweet Sixteen Weeks!

Baby Lila is sixteen weeks already! It seems like the time has gone so fast, and yet I look back on old pictures of her and I can't believe how much she has changed.

Here is a treasury I made contemplating the things Lila might like when she is sixteen years old! (I really liked hello kitty and skittles so I figure she might too!)

Can't wait to match this necklace with my many pink things!
I don't know if you can tell but these earrings are a really pretty shade of seafoam green.

New Nails

The final product:

First I started out with plain houndstooth nail polish strips:
Then I quickly got bored with them so I snazzed them up a bit:
(and got nail polish all over my hands - left hand)

(right hand)

and added my matching hairclips and bracelet from B. Radley! I love that shop and they have great stuff on sale!
(see bracelet in top photo)

Thanks for reading, have a great evening and happy daylight savings!!!
