What I'm Listening To

As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of Broadway musicals. Michael Crawford was the original Phantom of the Opera. I am currently listening to his "Songs From the Stage and Screen" Cd which is a wonderful compilation of famous songs from musicals.
Funny Story....when I was a little girl I used to swing on my swing set in the back yard and sing show tunes to myself. I always assumed no one could hear me, until one day when I was walking around the block, and old lady who lived in the house behind us said something along the lines of "Oh you! I always hear you singing to yourself you poor lonely child." (ok I added the last part) I always sang a little softer after that. Come to think of it, I have always been really self-conscious of my voice and I wonder if that is where it all started! (I still LOVE to sing when I am alone.)

 I used a bunny die-cut and gave her jewels for her eyes on this one-of-a-kind greeting card. I added a pretty pink flower for her to smell, and a friendly "happy spring" greeting.  I absolutely love jewels and flowers, they are so springy!

Great Stuff!

Good afternoon!
It is sunny and snowy here in Wisconsin... 

Lila had a pediatrician appointment today, her two-month check up. All is well but she had to get three shots which was very painful, for her and for me! Her face got so red and she held her breath for a few seconds -- it made me cry! I'm sure I'm not the only parent who reacts this way?!

Anyways, she is sleeping well now so I am taking advantage of this opportunity to get some stuff done! I am working on some cards with fun printed papers - very springy looking stuff. I also ordered some stamps that shipped out two days ago, so I am hoping they will arrive today!
