Top Ten Time Wasting Websites # 3: Blogger

Here we are! Finally down to the Top Three, of the Top Ten Time Wasting Websites!

I've only been blogging a little while, and I wish I had started sooner! I am meeting so many cool people, finding all kinds of awesome inspiration and learning so much! It is also a great form of self affirmation-

I have to admit that it is really hard for me to keep up with my blog. As a full time single parent to an infant, I don't have nearly as much time to work on my blog as I would like. There are so many things I hope to do with my blog in the future when I have a little more time.
But even with a little time, I am having so much fun sharing things with the world! Or at least I am enjoying my delusions that I am sharing anything with anybody :)
What are your favorite types of blogs to read?

StumbleUpon is a really great way to waste time because you can use it for so many things. Top Ten Time Wasting Websites #5: MineKey

Have you ever heard of Minekey.com? I first used it when it was an app on Facebook called IThink. Apparently since then it has become its own website.

I don't know how popular it is in America, I think it has become more popular in Europe.  Anyways, Minekey is a website where people express their opinions, and others can either agree or disagree with you.

It sounds simple, because it is! You get points for everything but I don't really care about the points, I just like to express my opinions and see what other people think about them. Check it out!
(hope you don't mind the adorable little prints I added from Bett Norris Illustration!)

Top Ten Time Wasting Websites #7: Youtube and #6:Twitter

The thing about Youtube is that it's everywhere. You can be reading someone's blog, and there's a youtube video. Looking at someone's Facebook page, there's a video. Even in the Etsy forums there's a link to a video.

The other thing about Youtube, is that once you watch one video, they hook you in by offering up a selection of other videos you might also like. Before you know it, you've watched 17 videos of kittens riding turtles.
But seriously, I love cute animal videos. They just brighten my day, and are so fun to watch with friends. My Dad wonders where I find all of them... oh just another one of my favorite time wasting websites.

My #6 time wasting website is Twitter. I recently got a Twitter account to help promote my Etsy shop. Now, I have trouble placing it at a number, because it doesn't really take up large block of time, I just like to check it frequently. Its also nice because you can link other accounts you have on the internet to your twitter account, and let people know what's new. So whenever I post a new item in my Etsy shop, I also tweet about it! I should probably do the same thing with my blog posts... hmmmmm....
Are you on Twitter? If so, click here to follow me, and I will follow you back!

Top Ten Time Wasting Websites #8: Craigslist

One thing about me you should know: I am not down to earth. I am a dreamer. I am a pie-in-the-sky, head-in-the-clouds artist. I spend a lot of time dreaming and imagining what life would be like if... well if it were different. So I love spending time on Craigslist looking at dream apartments and houses in my area. I have a little obsession with houses and homes. Do you ever look into people's houses at night when they leave their lights on? I don't mean stop and stare, but as you walk or drive by... just kind peer in to see how they have set up their house? I do. Maybe I shouldn't admit that. Anyways, I love looking at Craiglist and seeing what awesome houses and apartments they have for rent.

I have also found a job and couple of cool friends on Craigslist... its really nice for making connections in your area! Do you ever use the Craiglist in your area? What do you use it for?

Top Ten Time Wasting Websites #9: Amazon.com

Have I ever mention that I have teeny tiny shopping addiction? Well because of this, Amazon is one of my favorite virtual places to be. You can buy almost anything there, and often times at much cheaper prices than other stores or websites. If you love books, like I do, you might want to freeze your credit card before you check it out. Here are some things on my Amazon wishlist:

What was the last thing you bought from Amazon?

Top Ten Time Wasting Websites #10: Facebook

In a list of my top 10 time-wasting websites, Facebook is #10 because I honestly don't use it that much. Maybe once every other day. Which shows you how much I use all the other websites I will list in the next few days.

Time for some Facebook humor:
